How I Drive | Profile of Autoproyecto’s Javier Mota

This week’s featured guest is Mr. Javier Mota of SiriusXM radio show Autos 0-60 and Spanish language automotive site Autoproyecto.com. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Javier at media events and we’re are also friends on Facebook – it seems like he’s on a media trip every single day! Be Car Chic has had the pleasure of collaborating with Javier various times. Most recently, editor Melanie joined Javier in a test drive video of the 2015 Ford Edge. Needless to say, Javier has some awesome auto experience but you just have to check out his driving profile below:

How I Drive | Javier Mota

Location: Miami

Daily Driver: All makes, all models, all colors. Whatever car I have from the Media Fleet!

Time Spent Driving/day: It depends on the day. Could take a few minutes to 5 hours if I am on a media trip test-driving a new car.

Road Most Traveled: US 1

Driving Style in One Word: Agressivebutsafe (I didn´t use spaces. Does that count as one word?) ;)

In-Car Must-Haves: Useful technology, efficient and powerful engine, and of course, good looks.

Driving Tunes: Autos 0-60 on Sirius XM Radio, CH 153. You can catch it every day at 11 a.m. ET

Time-saving technique: Avoid rush hour, which is getting more difficult to accomplish anywhere in the US these days. Monday, Sunday, Thursday … 10 a.m., 2 p.m., 3 a.m. … There´s crazy traffic everywhere and all the time!

Hanging from rear view: Nothing now, since I swap cars every week, but back in the day when I drove a 1997 Nissan Pathfinder, I had a silver soccer ball from the World Cup France 98.
