Video: Crystal Windham talks Chevrolet Impala Design

In 2011, Crystal Windham rose through the ranks at General Motors to become the first African American woman to lead the company’s design efforts. As interior design director for Chevrolet cars in North America, her award-winning designs have undoubtedly channeled consumers’ feedback on Chevy’s vehicle offerings  into the automaker’s newest products. Today, Windham is proud to talk about her latest work on the 2014 Chevrolet Impala.

Equally important to Windham’s mark as one of the “100 Leading Women in the North American Auto Industry”, is her dedication to the community around her. Crystal is also the creator of a school program called “You Make A Difference” which aims to teach young female students about automotive design.
