Playing model for a night with Project Gravitas and She Buys Cars at the New York Auto Show
We were invited to participate in a women’s blogger event called “Girls Night Out” (#NYIASGNO) hosted by She Buys Cars and Toyota at the Javits Center in New York. To sweeten the deal, our friends at SBC invited founder & editor, Melanie Batenchuk, to wear a dress designed by Project Gravitas during the event. (Also to sweeten the deal even further, Project Gravitas has shared a special PROMO code for our readers to shop with for the next week! Scroll to the end of the post for it.)
Melanie is definitely not a model, but she loves any excuse to get dressed up, so she joined a few other real women in showcasing these beautifully-designed dresses. And it may just be us, but we think that fashion plus cars totally equals being ‘car chic’!
Why ‘Project Gravitas’?
Lisa was told early on in her career that in order to succeed she needed to gain some “gravitas”. Her dress and skirt design concepts are tailored to make women feel confident about themselves. The secret? Built-in shapewear that is not restrictive, but breathable and comfortable. Learn more about her passion project, which is earning accolades from the likes of Oprah and The Today Show at ProjectGravitas.com.
