DOT launches #BeyondTraffic | 30-year framework plan

Today, U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx will hold a town hall meeting at Google headquarters in Silicon Valley to announce the agency’s “Beyond Traffic” initiative. Slated as a discussion on his 30-year plan for the framework of our future transportation choices, Secy. Foxx looks to get out in front of technologies such as autonomous cars and electric-vehicle charging infrastructure.

Topics of discussion will include: freight transportation, public transportation infrastructure, the logistics of advanced technology vehicles, and making smart investments to support this extensive plan.
