DC Car Chat goes country

Last night, Juan Barnett of DC AutoGeek and I hosted our fifth DC Car Chat event at Hill Country BBQ in D.C. This periodic meetup that launched in August of last year has become a staple among the automotive community here in the nation’s capital.

Just as casual in atmosphere as it ever was, DC Car Chat aims to bring together industry representatives, auto public policy journalists, bloggers and enthusiasts to talk what we know best – the car industry. But the chatter rarely is limited to car talk, DC Car Chat provides a relaxed venue for people to get to know one another outside of the work we do.

I’m proud that, in a relatively short amount of time, we have worked together to cultivate an environment that is friendly to all those working in the automotive world. After all, I’m a firm believer that what happens on Capitol Hill ultimately impacts the rest of the industry.
