#DCCarChat goes ‘green’ with St. Patrick’s Day themed event

We had a lot of fun kicking off the 2012 #DCCarChat season thanks to our friends from the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA). Be Car Chic and DC Auto Geek were joined by about 40 automotive enthusiasts and representatives off the heels of the first day of the D.C. Auto Show in January for our inaugural event of the year.

Up next, we’ll be getting together to celebrate the luck of the Irish – bowling style! If you’re in the Washington, D.C. area, feel free to join us at Lucky Strike Lanes in Chinatown. Our sponsor, Honda Government Relations, will have snacks and beverages for those in attendance. We’ll also have a lane opened up for anyone who wants to show their bowling prowess. In honor of this ‘green’ holiday, we’ll be listing the bowlers by name of fuel-sipping cars so that guests may bowl at their leisure. All you have to do is fork over the $4.20 for those fancy two-toned shoes.

So please join us on Wednesday, March 21, for this destined-to-be-fun event. Thanks again to our friends at Honda in D.C. for sponsoring!

Click here to check out our Eventbrite page and to register for the event.

Hope to see you there!

Launched in August 2011, #DCCarChat is a meetup for automotive journalists, bloggers and industry representatives in the nation’s capital to move their conversations from social web to real life. We often find ourselves sharing news and information via Twitter so we decided to get to know one another in person. Check out our Twitter conversation by searching the #DCCarChat hash tag.
