Each Wednesday night, automotive radical Berry Lowman and his team…
It has only been two weeks since every hopeless romantic’s favorite holiday and when General Motor’s Northeast team asked fans to take its Sonic out on a first date. Putting together an online “dating” profile, the Chevy Sonic is waiting for that perfect opportunity to spend a week with one lucky winner who gains the most votes for his or her date idea.
If you recall the Sonic’s Super Bowl 46 commercial, then it’s easy to see that the Sonic loves a good adventure. Take a peek at the Sonic ad here. The GM Northeast team is using social media to drive entries into this contest. A quick Twitter search of the campaign hash tag – #DateMyChevy – shows that there has been some conversation about the movement.
Chevy Sonic’s Dating Profile
Thinking about asking the Sonic to spend some quality time? You’ll want to hurry. The first round of entries ends this Friday, March 2. The five best ideas will see the Sonic show up at an event in their neck of the woods. Then, the GM Northeast team will ask their readers and fans to vote on their favorite. The grand prize winner will get one week to drive and enjoy the Sonic.
Entries may be submitted via website form or by tweeting your ideas to @GMNortheast with the hash tags #DateMyChevy and #GMNER.
