A Chevy Volt’s time lapse journey in Alaska

When you think of a Chevy Volt and where it might venture, if you’re anything like me, your thoughts probably don’t immediately go to Alaska. The great wild beyond isn’t exactly crawling with plug-in charging stations for extended range vehicles. But last winter that’s exactly where one Volt went.A team of engineers from Chevrolet spent a few weeks way up north to push the Volt to its bitterly cold limits. An article from Green Car Reports goes into more details about the excursion here. I just like the cool time lapse video they created to document the trip the Volt made (without re-charging!) from Anchorage to Seward, Alaska.Watch and enjoy![youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3DW7PUywWsM&feature]
