“Won’t start texting”- Quirky tune addresses a serious issue

Today, a fellow tweeter shared with me a clever approach to distracted driving awareness. ZoomSafer.com – the leading provider of innovative software to promote the safe, legal and handsfree use of mobile phones while driving – features an unique, almost silly, take on a not-so-funny topic. The video was carefully crafted by Dr. Marsh Carroll, a certified PhD in Quantum Chemistry from Winnipeg, Alberta (yep, that’s Canada).

Although quirky, and clearly not a Billboard chart topper, I find that I’m still humming the tune. Can a catchy tune and some hand-drawn graphics really make you think twice about driving while distracted? I think so.
